Faramarz Rahmani
Artist Painter

About
Faramarz Rahmani, born in 1961 in Tehran, Iran, is a painter whose artistic journey began at an early age. He started painting as a child at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, where his talent was recognized early on. By the age of 13, he held his first solo exhibition at the institute, followed by another at 14.As he grew as an artist, he refined his skills under the guidance of esteemed mentors, developing a distinct artistic voice that blends technical mastery with profound expression.Rahmani does not confine himself to a specific style or school of painting. Instead, he allows his creative process to be guided by intuition and personal exploration, following whatever moves him in the moment. This freedom gives his body of work a dynamic and ever-evolving quality.Much of his recent work is inspired by Persian mysticism, classical poetry, and literature—a reflection of his deep connection to the spiritual and literary heritage of his homeland.Over the decades, Rahmani’s work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions. He continues to create and inspire, drawing from a lifetime of artistic exploration. His work bridges tradition and modernity, offering a compelling narrative of color, form, and emotion.
